M.A.Y. (Midwest American Youth) is the alternative project of Twin Cities musician Kristyn Leigh. “going v” is the new electro-pop track from the self-described “one-woman wall of sound.” Leigh’s bright vocals pair with dark, syrupy synths throughout the track." "Fans of Björk and Grimes may enjoy “going v.”

“Kristyn (M.A.Y.) does a one woman show where she uses live guitar, loops and tracks to weave a sonic quilt that envelops the listener in a warm embrace.” “Let me confess I am usually drawn towards bands with full instrumentation rather than backing tracks, the lovely Kristyn Leigh proved to be the exception that has me questioning that stance, really cool stuff!”
